Introduction:
The Cambridge English Test Portal (also known as Metrica) is an online portal used to administer Cambridge English Placement Tests (CEPT).
Below is a step-by-step guide for setting up, running tests and producing results for CEPT tests in the Cambridge English Test Portal.

Step-by-Step Guide:
Please follow these steps to setup and run tests through the Cambridge English Test Portal:
1. Venues
You will have been provided with a default Location and Venue. You can add additional Venues if required.

2. Users
The main contact at your centre will already have been provided with Agent access. The Agent can then create additional users if required.

3. Sessions
A default session will already have been created for you, however, you can create additional sessions if you wish.
Additional sessions can be used to organise your tests, for example, if you have two Venues you may wish to create a session for each Venues to keep them separate.

4. Purchase Test Credits in the Shop
Test Credits are purchased in the portal via the shop. Test credits are later used to generate candidate logins.

5. Adding Entries
Once you've purchased enough test credits, you can generate candidate logins. This can be done via a number of methods:
Entry Codes, Bulk Entry Import, Single Candidate Entry and Search Existing

6. Withdrawing Entries
This page contains full details on withdrawing candidates from a session:
7. Candidate takes the test
The test is now ready to run. Candidates use the same website to run the test.

8. Access Candidate results
Once candidates have completed the test, you can view candidate's results via the portal.

9. Creating Clients
If you have any clients, you can set up their Location and User accounts.

10. Managing Client Orders
If you have any clients, they can order tests from the Agent. The agent can approve or reject their order. Agents can also allocate tests to Clients without an order.
