Helpdesk Training Article
If you have taken one of our exams and you would like to share your results with an organisation, you can do this through the Results Service for Candidates website.
To share your results you will first need to register using your ID and secret number. You can find guidance on how to register here.
If you have lost or never received your ID number and secret number, you will need to contact your exam centre directly for assistance. Your exam centre will have access to these details and will be able to provide you with them.
For security reasons, we cannot provide ID and secret numbers to candidates directly.
If your exam centre needs assistance with finding your details, they should contact the Helpdesk.
If your centre does not appear here, please contact us.
How to send your results
1. First you will need to log into the Results Service for Candidates portal with your ID and the password you created when you registered.
2. When you have logged into your account, click on Send my result.
3. Next, you will need to search for the organisation you would like your results to be sent to. Start typing the name of the organisation into the search bar. Select the relevant organisation from the drop down list and then click Send my result:
If you are presented with a list of organisations with the same name (e.g. Kings College), make sure you select the correct organisation from the relevant country/city (e.g. Kings College - Cambridge).
You can see the status of your results (read/unread) by navigating to the shared results tab:
What to do if your institution isn’t listed?
If the organisation you are applying to isn't listed, you will need to reach out to them directly to check how they would like to verify your result.
If the organisation would like you to share your results to the Results Verification portal, you can send them an invite by searching for the organisation name and then clicking Send them an invite.
You will need to have their email address and website in order to send them an invite.
Sharing results with the Australian Department of Home Affairs
We can confirm that the Australian Government's Department of Home Affairs is continuing to recognise our paper-based C1 Advanced qualification as proof of English language proficiency for all visa programmes. This does not apply to C1 Advanced Digital, which is still under review. Computer-based C1 Advanced results from tests taken before 12 February 2024 are accepted by the Department of Home Affairs if they meet the respective visa validity deadline.
If you need to share your results with the Australian Department of Home Affairs you will need to contact them directly and provide them with your verification number and your date of birth.
Your exam verification number can be found in the top right corner of your Statement of Results. If you received your Statement of Results before June 2021, it will have a reference number instead of a verification number.
Please see below examples of what the reference or verification number will look like:
Example number for exams after February 2020: A1234567
Example number for exams before February 2020: 123AB1234567
What to do if you are unable to log into the Results Service for Candidates
If you are having trouble logging in, please check you are using your ID number (found on your confirmation of entry) and the password you set when you first registered.
If you have forgotten your password, you can click on the 'forgotten password' link and a password reset email will be sent to the email address you used when you registered.
If you do not receive the password reset email, please check your junk/spam filters.
If you no longer have access to the email address you used to register, please contact your exam centre. Your exam centre will need to get in touch with the Helpdesk to request a full reset of your account.
