Information for candidates who have taken IELTS
After taking IELTS, you will receive one copy of your Test Report form (TRF). This will only be replaced if it is lost or damaged. To get a copy of your TRF, you will need to contact the centre where you took your test. You must put your request in writing to them and provide a copy of the ID document you used on the test day.
If you need additional copies to be sent to recognising organisations, please contact your IELTS centre for assistance. Your centre may charge an administration fee for providing this service. Your centre cannot send additional TRFs if your test was taken more two years ago.
Candidates who wish to use their IELTS result for immigration purposes
If you wish to use your IELTS test result to apply to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) or United Kingdom Visa and Immigration (UKVI) you can request one additional copy of your TRF from your centre (two in total). Proof of your application to CIC or UKVI will need to be provided.
If the IELTS test centre where you took your test has closed
If your test centre is closed it is still possible to send a copy of your TRF to recognising organisations for up to two years after the test was taken. For information on how to request this service, please see this page of our website.
