Why do we require centres to go through an approval process?
All organisations that want to offer our qualifications must demonstrate their capability for running exams and increasing sales while also maintaining the security and quality assurance of our exams.
The approval process helps you demonstrate to us that you can meet these requirements. We want to learn about your motivations and capabilities, and we want help you to understand the responsibilities, costs and requirements of being a centre and the obligations centres are expected to comply with. If your organisation is approved as a centre, you will sign a legal agreement between your organisation and ours, which clarifies the responsibilities of the centre.
All candidates must be confident that the centre they enrol through reflects the high quality associated with the Cambridge name, and our regulators and recognising organisations must be reassured that all centres comply with requirements.
