All centres must nominate a named Centre Exams Manager (CEM). This person is the key contact for Cambridge English for all matters relating to the exams.
In some larger centres, there may be more than one person involved in the administration of the exams – one of them must be nominated as CEM.
Please note that CEMs cannot be engaged as Assessment Specialists by Cambridge English due to potential conflicts of interest. This means they cannot be Centre Inspectors, Professional Support Leaders, Regional Team Leaders or hold any other AS role which is directly engaged by Cambridge English.
The decision on who to nominate as CEM is made by the centre and the centre is responsible for ensuring a suitable person is appointed to this role.
The centre is also responsible for ensuring that the CEM is given the support and resources needed for fulfilling the role and for running a successful exam centre.
